These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TahoePass — the web applications at tahoepass.app and user.tahoepass.app and the TahoePass iOS application (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are effective as of July 19, 2026.
1. The Service
TahoePass helps Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) pass holders manage their picture passes, punch cards, and household members' passes; scan physical passes to add them to an account; and view community messages and events published for pass holders. TahoePass is a companion to your IVGID passes — it does not replace them or the rules that govern them.
TahoePass is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Incline Village General Improvement District.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for IVGID pass holders — residents of Incline Village and Crystal Bay and others who hold valid IVGID passes — and for parents or guardians managing passes on behalf of household members. You must be an adult to create an account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Add passes to your account that you are not entitled to hold or manage;
- Misrepresent your identity or the identity of any household member;
- Attempt to forge, duplicate, or otherwise misuse a pass, barcode, or scan record;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service, or access it in a manner other than through the interfaces we provide; or
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in a way that threatens the security or integrity of the Service.
4. Your Account & Responsibilities
You are responsible for your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Keep your sign-in email secure — access to that email is access to your account. You agree to provide accurate information, including accurate names and details for any household members and dependents whose passes you add, and to keep that information up to date.
5. Passes & IVGID
Pass validity, eligibility, punch balances, expiration, and all terms of use of the underlying passes are determined by IVGID, not by TahoePass. Information displayed in the Service is provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, IVGID's records and determinations control. TahoePass is not responsible for decisions made by IVGID or its venues regarding admission or pass acceptance.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TahoePass and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada.
